Looking at the base price i'd say yes. I haven't played it yet but plan to pick it up tomorrow and i'm going for the Gold Edition simply because the game has good reviews and I like the genre. Edit: The one big DLC is $15 alone and doesn't even include the other DLC. So if you don't have any other games you want to get go for Gold.
