T-Mobile 5G Home Internet is a great alternative to cable or fiber internet, and it’s light years ahead of DSL. Especially if you have a small-to-medium-sized household with average internet needs, we say T-Mobile is absolutely worth a try. Its low cost, flexible terms, and ease of use are too compelling to ignore.
January 17 was my one-year anniversary as a T-Mobile Home Internet customer. I wish the story could be all good news but unfortunately that is not the case.I received the Nokia 5G21 gateway on 01-17-2022. Installed it and had it receiving internet data without any problems. T-Mobile home internet isn't really the same as cable or DSL, you don't get a public ip address. Your on their own private network that's not accessable from outside, so some games won't connect to their server, direct connections back a media server or security cameras also won't work or take more effort to make them work.
If the signal is weak that would account for why the streaming is failing. My internet is buffering real bad. If you are seeing excessive buffering it is probably due to low bandwidth. If the cellular source is busy or there is some problem that restricts bandwidth and service delivery buffering is going to happen.
Here's my experience so far with T-Mobile Home Internet I pretty much only use the T-Mobile Router as a cable modem. T-Mobile Router -> TP-Link Archer Router -> All other devices in the house One of my laptops is a core i7 w/ 32 gigs of ram mainly used as my Channels DVR server. I decided to use this as my primary vpn server as well.
